I have graduated with honors from Moscow State University, Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics in 2006. Currently I am a PhD student at the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences.

I work in Graphics and Media Lab and have participated in many research projects related to 3D reconstruction, camera calibration, computer vision and image processing.

Research Projects:

  • 3D reconstruction and recognition for mineralogy
  • Interactive enhancement of microscopic images (in progress)
  • Automatic detection of inclusions in minerals from a set of microscopic images (in progress)
  • Robust 3D reconstruction of arbitrary surfaces from a set of microscopic images
  • Plane estimation for high-precision calculation of refractions in minerals
  • Semi-automatic system for allocation of inclusions in transparent minerals
  • High-precision polyhedral 3D reconstruction [link]
  • 3D reconstruction of objects from a sequence of uncalibrated images via fitting primitives to sparse 3D points clouds and sketch-based approach [link]
