Vadim Konushin


I have graduated from gymnasium 1543 in 2002 and from Moscow State Universitydepartment of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics in 2007. Now I am a Ph.D. student at the Keldysh Institute of Applied MathematicsRussian Academy of Sciences.
I work in Graphics and Media Lab and have participated in several projects of the lab, including a project with Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT).
Most of my research focuses on people video surveillance problems: background subtraction, people tracking, face recognition, age/gender classification, face features detection and others. I have also worked on image/video segmentation and matting tasks, texture reconstruction.
